NEW SHARON, Maine — A man and a woman are facing multiple charges after Franklin County sheriff’s deputies received a fraud complaint on Thursday.
An employee of Dube Environmental claimed that another employee, Daniel Villacci, 28, had charged more than $6,000 on the company’s credit card, according to Sheriff Scott Nichols.
As a result of the investigation, police on Friday arrested Villacci and his 30-year old fiancee, Tabatha Schoubroek, according to Nichols.
Both arrestees hail from New Sharon, Nichols said.
Schoubroek and Villacci were both charged with theft and violating conditions of release, the sheriff said.
