ROCKLAND, Maine — A Warren woman was arrested Thursday and charged with felony drug trafficking in Rockland.

Hillary Long, 29, was arrested by officers from the Rockland Police Department, Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Maine State Police, according to a news release from the agencies.

According to police, agents observed Long getting ready to make a transaction in the parking lot near Auto Zone at about 3 p.m. Upon searching the woman, agents found about 15 grams of cocaine, some of which was packaged for resale. Also found on Long were three-and-a-half methadone wafers, and $1,100 in cash.

After the seizure in Rockland, MDEA, state police and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at her residence on Maple Drive in Warren. Scales and more evidence of trafficking and drug use were seized.

Long was taken to the Knox County Jail in Rockland and charged with Class B trafficking cocaine class and Class D possession of methadone.

Her bail was set at $750 cash. She remained in jail Monday morning,

Long has a 2011 conviction for felony possession of marijuana.
