KENNEBUNK, Maine — Emergency officials responded on Monday to the report of an unresponsive woman in one of the aisles at the Hannaford supermarket in Kennebunk, according to information from the Kennebunk police and fire departments.
The woman was responding to paramedics when they arrived, according to Fire Chief Jeffrey Rowe.
The woman, whose name and age was not given, was taken to the Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford and then to Maine Medical Center in Portland, according to Rowe.
The incident occurred at 8:53 a.m. in aisle 12 of the supermarket, where candy and cards are sold.
