CHARLTON, Mass. – A well-known Portland woman was killed after a multi-car crash on the Mass Turnpike.
Investigators say Susan Camardo Reilly, 64, died after two tractor-trailers, an SUV, and the car she was riding in, collided Tuesday.
The crash happened on I-90 in Charlton, Massachusetts on Tuesday afternoon. Reilly was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her husband, Anthony Reilly, 60, is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Reilly was a well-known theater actor and recently performed in “Grey Gardens” at Mad Horse Theater. She and her husband Anthony, a fellow actor, co-founded the American Irish Repertory Ensemble in Portland.
