FORT KENT – Joel Bouley, 70, died peacefully December 30, 2014 surrounded by family at a Fort Kent Health Care Facility. He was born June 4, 1944, in Daigle, the son of Albenie and Alphenia (Roy) Bouley.
Joel worked as a truck driver for Soucy Warehouse for several years and 13 years for Great Northern Paper Co. He also worked part time as a painter and in the woods.
He truly loved the outdoors, hunting & fishing, and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Amanda (Theriault) Bouley of Fort Kent. Sons; Vernon and wife Monique Bouley of Wallagrass, John Bouley of Fort Kent, and James and wife Char Bouley of Waterborough, Me. His daughter, Vicky and companion Paul of Limestone. Six Grandchildren; Scott, Rebecca, Lance, Kassandra, Sarah, and Sam. One great-grandson, Kaisen. Two brothers; Rodney Bouley of Limestone, Richard Bouley of Schenectady, NY. One sister, Joan Roy of Limestone. several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a granddaughter Sophia, Infant brother James, half brother Peter, Brother Albenie Jr. and a sister Priscilla.
Friends may call Friday January 2, 2015 from 9 am untill time of service at the Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Spring burial will be in the parish cemetery.
