HOULTON, Maine — Investigators from the State Fire Marshal’s Office are looking into the cause of a fire on River Street in Houlton.
Officials from the Houlton Fire Department said Friday evening that the fire at 46 River St. was reported at around 11:40 a.m.
No one was at home at the time of the fire, and officials are not yet sure who owns the home.
No one was injured.
No cause has yet been determined.
The fire was extinguished by approximately 2 p.m.
The investigation is ongoing.
