PORTLAND, Maine — The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Standish man Wednesday afternoon after deputies were called to his Middle Road residence for a domestic disturbance involving a knife.
Jay W. Bush, 54, of Standish is charged with domestic violence assault and domestic violence criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, namely a knife, Capt. Donald Goulet said late Wednesday afternoon.
The charges stem from an incident that occurred around 12:40 p.m. at 606 Middle Road. Details about the alleged assault and the victim were not immediately available Wednesday.
Bush remained at the Cumberland County Jail Wednesday night, a jail official confirmed.
