WINTHROP, Maine — A local man is facing burglary and theft charges after a pair of burglaries in which several items, including Build-A-Bear gift cards, were stolen, police said.
Alleged burglaries involving Justin Lebourdais, 29, were reported on Dec. 19 and Dec. 26, according to Winthrop police Detective Pete Struck.
Lebourdais was arrested on New Year’s Day, Struck said.
The recovered items from the burglaries include Build-A-Bear gift cards with a total value of $100, along with a firearm, TV, tools and some cash, according to Struck.
The resident had purchased the gift cards for her grandchildren, the detective said.
Police managed to track down Lebourdais through investigative efforts and he was arrested without incident, Struck said.
