BANGOR, Maine — The Bangor School Department has canceled all after-school activities for elementary and middle school students for Thursday, Superintendent Betsy Webb said.
Activities are being canceled because of extremely cold temperatures. After-school activities at Bangor High School remain as scheduled.
All elementary and middle school students will be dismissed at the end of the day.
