NORWAY, Maine — According to police, a man is accused of beating a woman three times in a week. Police say Shawn Stevens, 43, of Norway threw a frying pan at the victim, slammed a door on her arm repeatedly as she was trying to leave, hit her head on a microwave and choked her.
Police say the attacks happened between Dec. 29 and Jan. 8. Police say she was visibly injured during a welfare check last week. Stevens is free on bail.
