PORTLAND, Maine — Approximately 14 people were indicted by a grand jury in connection with the distribution of cocaine and heroin in the Lewiston-Auburn areas, according to the U.S. attorney’s office.

According to a statement from the U.S. attorney’s office, 11 suspects were arrested and indicted on Friday, while three others were indicted Friday.

The case was investigated by the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, Lewiston and Auburn police, state police, the FBI and the Southern Maine Gang Task Force.

The following individuals are facing the following charges:

Tasheem Carter, 29, Lewiston, possession of oxycodone and cocaine with intent to distribute.

Christian Dent, 31, Lewiston, conspiracy to distribute 28 grams or more of cocaine, possession of a firearm by a felon.

Sabree Branch, 23, Lewiston, use of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, possession of cocaine base.

Michael Boney, 28, Auburn, possession of cocaine and cocaine base with intent to distribute.

Angela Crabtree, 31, Auburn, possession of cocaine base with intent to distribute.

Katelynn Dubois, 21, Wales, conspiracy to distribute oxycodone.

Lee Eirby, 66, Lewiston, maintaining a drug-involved premises.

Isaac Fofie, 26, New Sharon, conspiracy to distribute heroin and distribution of heroin.

Kourtney Francoeur, 21, Lewiston, conspiracy to distribute cocaine base.

Jamel Hamilton, Far Rockaway, New York, conspiracy to distribute heroin.

Willie Jackson, 32, Lewiston, possession of cocaine base with intent to distribute.

Rebecca Thompson, 33, Lewiston, conspiracy to distribute cocaine base.

Barney Whitfield, 33, of Lewiston, possession of cocaine base with intent to distribute.

Branch, Coleman, Crabtree, Dubois, Eirby, Fofie, Francoeur, Hamilton, Jackson, Thompson and Whitfield were all arrested Friday and were scheduled to appear in court Friday while Carter, Dent and Boney were all previously arrested.
