SKOWHEGAN, Maine — A Solon man was indicted recently by a Somerset County grand jury on charges of gross sexual assault and unlawful sexual contact.
William Quattrocchi, 24, is facing up to 25 years behind bars if convicted of the Class A crime of gross sexual assault.
Quattrocchi was arrested in late December in connection with a 2012 assault on a boy who was 12 years old at the time of the assault.
Sheriff’s deputies launched an investigation in November and were able to determine Quattrocchi had sexual contact with the victim after interviewing the victim and reviewing computer evidence coupled with the case.
