CAMDEN, Maine — A 19-year-old Hope man was charged Friday with a pair of business break-ins that occurred in September.
Benjamin Welt was issued summonses Friday for two counts of burglaries, according to Camden Police Detective Curt Andrick. The detective said that the department acted on new information it received recently and that led to the charges.
The burglaries occurred Sept. 5 at the Long Grain Restaurant and Sept. 20 at the Bagel Cafe. In the Long Grain burglary, cash and alcohol were taken. Nothing was taken in the Bagel Cafe break-in.
