A man who is a suspect in connection with the suspicious death of a woman in Michigan may be heading for Maine, according to officials.
Harold “Butch” Knight, 66, is the husband of the victim, Sara Lee Knight, 48, according to a statement from Capt. Frank Baker of the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office in Michigan.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Knight.
Detectives believe a 911 call made about 8 a.m. Jan. 13 came from Knight, according to Baker.
Sara Lee Knight has ties to the Androscoggin County town of Turner, and it’s possible Harold Knight could be heading toward Maine, officials said.
“Him and her were living in Maine at one time,” Baker said.
Baker said he might be driving a light green 2009 Subaru Forester, which is registered to Sara Lee Knight.
The vehicle is light green in color and bears a Michigan license plate of GM74A.
Anyone who sees the vehicle or has more information should call the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office at 269-673-0500.
