Because of Saturday’s impending snowstorm, the Eastern Maine cheerleading championships for Classes B-C and East/West Classes D at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor will start earlier, while the Western Maine A-B-C championships and Eastern Maine Class A finals at the Augusta Civic Center have been postponed to Monday.
The revised Saturday schedule for Bangor is: Class C East, 9 a.m.; Class D, 11:15 a.m.; and Class B, 1:30 p.m.
The revised Monday schedule for Augusta is: Classes A-C West, 3 p.m.; and Class A East and Class B West, 6:30 p.m.
The Eastern Maine Indoor Track League also has moved up its meets on Saturday, with both starting at 12:40 p.m.
The teams from meet 5A are: Bucksport, Ellsworth, Hermon, John Bapst, Old Town, Orono and Sumner, Bangor Christian and George Stevens Academy. The teams from meet 5B are: Bangor, Brewer, Central, Foxcroft Academy, Hampden Academy, Mattanawcook Academy and Mount Desert Island.
Two Old Town games have also been changed. The John Bapst at Old Town boys basketball game has been moved up to noon Saturday while the Waterville at OT/Orono boys hockey game has been moved to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
In Orono, the Washington Academy at Orono girls varsity basketball game will now begin at 1 p.m., preceded by the junior varsity game at 11:30 a.m.
At Camden Hills, all events scheduled for Saturday have been postponed.
