AUGUSTA, Maine — Police are looking for an armed man who they say robbed a convenience store Sunday night.
Around 8:30 p.m., Augusta Police say a white man between 20 and 30 years old walked into the Augusta Quick Mart at 25 Western Ave and demanded cash. Police say the man took an undisclosed amount of money and ran off.
Police say it’s believed the suspect had a handgun; he is described as having a slim-to-medium build and was wearing a red and black jacket, a gray bomber-style hat with fur and aviator sunglasses. Witnesses are urged to call police.
