WHITEFIELD, Maine — Multiple Lincoln County-area fire departments rushed to a structure fire Tuesday afternoon at 452 Mills Road in Whitefield.
A dispatcher at Lincoln County Communications confirmed that the fire was still burning at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Route 218 is closed between the west intersection with Route 126 and Route 17 near Coopers Mills, according to the Maine Department of Transportation. No detour is available, according to the DOT, and drivers should consider an alternate route.
