OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine — The large amount of snow helped break the landing of people who jumped out of windows of a building during an early morning fire in Old Orchard Beach, officials say.

OOB fire chief says when they arrived to apartment fire people were hanging out windows for air, crews rescued 24 people. All accounted for.
