ELLSWORTH, Maine — Crews were working to rectify a water main break Friday afternoon, according to Ellsworth Public Works Director Larry Wilson.
The break occurred near the intersection of Church and School streets, Wilson said. Traffic is not being affected because only 100 feet of road on Church Street has been closed.
A cause has not been determined for the break, and Wilson did not have a timetable for when it would be fixed.
He said the break occurred sometime Friday morning.
