ROCKPORT, Maine — The Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce Year in Review Awards Gala took place Wednesday at the Samoset Resort.
More than 400 chamber member businesses and local community representatives were in attendance to honor award winners, including Rockland’s Mayor Frank Isganitis, who was named the Chamber Community Person of the Year.
The other winners were:
— Small Business of the Year Award to Loyal Biscuit.
— Beacon Award to Camden Winterfest.
— Economic Enhancement to athenahealth.
— Community Volunteer of the Year to Leona Pierpont.
— The New Building Award to The Pitch.
— Special Recognition Awards to Hope Elephants and “Pop for Change” volunteers and Maine Media Workshop and College.
