AUGUSTA, Maine — The snowstorm expected to hit the state Wednesday evening has forced the postponement of all Western Maine tourney basketball games in Augusta from Thursday to Friday.
This also caused the Class A regional finals, originally scheduled for Friday, to be moved to Saturday.
The Thursday schedule of Eastern Maine tourney games at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, four Class D semifinals, will be played.
There are also no changes for Western Maine A and B games for Thursday at the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland, but the Maine Principals’ Association will review conditions on Thursday morning.

— Class C girls: Dirigo vs. Madison, 2:30 p.m.; Mountain Valley vs. Maranacook, 4 p.m.
— Class C boys: Waynflete vs. Dirigo, 7 p.m.; Winthrop vs. Maranacook, 8:30 p.m.
