ETNA, Maine — A tractor-trailer jackknifed on Interstate 95 at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, leading to several cars sliding off the road in the southbound lanes.
The highway was shut down in the vicinity for a period of time, according to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.
Details on motorist injuries weren’t immediately available.
