Bangor Ballet

BANGOR — Bangor Ballet announced that it is one of the organizations selected to receive a $5,000 grant from Bangor Savings Bank through the Community Matters More campaign.

Bangor Ballet will perform “The Little Mermaid” in March and the classical “Les Sylphides” and an excerpt from “Coppelia” in June.

Bangor Ballet serves an audience from Dover-Foxcroft to Bucksport and has performed in other Maine communities, including Machias, Camden, Ellsworth and Stonington, and as far away as Vendome, France. The pre-professional ballet company is led by former New York City Ballet and Joffrey Ballet dancer Ivy Clear-Forrest.
