BIDDEFORD, Maine — A former Maine Turnpike tolltaker is in jail after allegedly robbing a Biddeford Maine Turnpike tollbooth at gunpoint Friday, state police said.
Jacqueline Bilbrey, 25, was taken into custody without incident at her parents’ residence on Tuesday, according to Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.
Bilbrey allegedly entered a tollbooth armed with a gun and demanded cash from a female tolltaker, according to McCausland.
She got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Bilbrey was charged with robbery and taken to the York County Jail.
