CARIBOU, Maine — Nearly 2,000 Emera Maine customers in Aroostook County were without power Thursday morning, according to a company statement.
Emera Maine crews are patrolling a transmission line to determine the cause of the outages, affecting 1,872 customers.
Affected towns include New Sweden, Woodland, Stockholm, Westmanland, Perham, Caribou, Connor and Cyr Plantation.
Crews will restore power as quickly as possible, once the problem is isolated. Service was expected to be restored by early Thursday afternoon.
