DEDHAM, Maine — Fire departments from multiple towns remain at a Mill Road home after a fire Friday afternoon.

The blaze at the raised ranch dwelling at 124 Mill Road was reported shortly after noon. It appeared to be under control as of 1:20 p.m., with no flames and little smoke showing. There were no immediate reports of injuries.

The fire was contained to the interior of the house, which was damaged by heavy smoke and fire, Dedham Fire Chief Craig Shane said at about 1:45 p.m.

Residents of the house all got out safely, Shane said.

The state fire marshal’s office has been called to investigate the cause of the blaze.

Fire departments from Orrington, Brewer, Dedham and Holden are at the location.
