ROCKPORT, Maine — Two selectboard seats and one on the school board are among the positions that will be up for a vote in the June municipal election.
Nomination papers can be taken out beginning Monday, March 16, at the town office. They must be filed by 5 p.m. Friday, April 24, for candidates to get on the June ballot.
The selectboard seats held by Board Vice Chairman Charlton Ames and member Kenneth McKinley are up for election this year.
The seat on both the School Administrative District 28 and the Five-Town Community School District boards held by Marcia Dietrich is also up this year.
Three budget committee posts and two seats on the library committee also will be on the ballot. Those budget panel seats are held by Peter Johnson, Betsy Saltonstall and Helen Shaw. Kathleen Meil and Stephanie Lash currently sit on the library panel.
The municipal election will be June 9.
