Kenduskeag Canoe Race
BANGOR — The Bangor parks and Recreation Department announced that it is now accepting registrations for the 49th annual Kenduskeag Canoe Race set for Saturday, April 18. The fee is $20 per person advance registration, $40 per person on Friday, April 17, and the day of the race. Race Day registrations will be accepted 6:30-7:30 a.m. only. Participants must be at least 12 years old and participants under 16 must have an adult with them in the boat.

Adult softball
BANGOR — The Bangor Parks and Recreation Department is looking for teams for its upcoming Summer Adult Softball League. The available leagues are men’s which play Mondays and Thursdays, church which plays on Tuesdays and co-ed which plays Wednesdays and Fridays. The fee is $750 per team with at least half paid by April 10 and the balance paid one week before the season begins. Youth Lacrosse
BANGOR — The Bangor Parks and Recreation, along with Eastern Maine Youth Lacrosse is offering a Youth Lacrosse program for third-graders through high school students. The fee is $85, $75 if registered by Wednesday, March 25. Limited equipment rental is available at a cost of $30. Discount tickets
BANGOR — Bangor Parks and Recreation is offering discount lift tickets to Sugarloaf Mountain. One-day tickets are available for Saturday, March 21, by meeting in the King Pine Room 8:30-9:30 a.m. March 21.
The cost for one-day tickets is $48, $38 children 6 to 18 and seniors age 65 and up. The cost for a two-day trip, lodging not included, is $94, $74 children 6 to 18 and seniors age 65 and up. Equipment rentals are available at the parks and recreation office for $27 or available at the mountain for an extra fee.
