SPRINGVALE, Maine — A Springvale man was arrested on an aggravated assault charge Monday after allegedly attacking another man, according to a state police statement.

Chase Hasty, 20, allegedly used a Taser on the victim 8 to 10 times in the face and the shoulder area, according to the statement.

Hasty also allegedly struck the victim on the face with the taser, according to the statement. The victim suffered multiple lacerations.

Hasty was taken to the York County Jail after his arrest where bail was set at $500. He is scheduled to appear in court April 30.
