FALMOUTH, Maine — A traffic stop for speeding turned into drug charges for a Cornville man when multiple amounts of contraband were found in his car, according to state police.
Gregory Strout, 28, had been pulled over along Interstate 295 in Falmouth when Trooper Doug Cropper discovered a large quantity of drugs in the vehicle, according to a state police statement.
Among the items found in the vehicle were five baggies of heroin, a small amount of marijuana, a Suboxone strip, 82 hypodermic needles, a methadone pill and assorted drug paraphernalia, according to the statement.
Strout was transported to the Cumberland County Jail after his arrest.
