ELLSWORTH, Maine — Drug agents are en route to to a suspected meth lab on High Street, according to Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland.
McCausland said Ellsworth police discovered the suspected lab Wednesday night. The occupants of the apartment house were evacuated and the building was secured.
No arrests have been made at this point. If confirmed, this would be the fifth meth lab discovered in Maine this year.
A lab in Bar Harbor was dismantled in Bar Harbor two weeks ago, which could make this the second lab discovered in Hancock County this March.
