This morning, I’m going to drive around looking for some city wildlife in the Bangor area and wait for the day to warm up a bit. (Will spring ever come?) Then this afternoon, I plan to embrace the lingering snow and go cross-country skiing on some awesome trails not far from home for next week’s “1-minute hike” video and writeup. In the meantime, I thought you might enjoy these bloopers.

Every week, you get the polished version of a hike or adventure (believe it or not), and a lot of footage never sees the light of day. So I’ve gone back over that footage and selected some weird stuff, some of which I forgot even happened. I find these bloopers funny — you may not. I have no idea. Regardless, it does give you a glimpse of what it’s like for me to film these outdoor videos. I kind of shoot from the hip. I like to jump into the adventure with both feet. And a lot of times, that results in me messing up.

If you liked this compilation, there are plenty previous blooper videos you can watch from the three years I’ve been recording these adventures on video. Here are a couple:

“1-minute hike” bloopers from summer 2013

“1-minute hike” bloopers from winter 2012-13
