Thank you for upgrading the BDN app to the latest version, and thank you to so many of you who have been long-time BDN app users.
The BDN received notice recently from Spreed, our long-time app development company, that they were ceasing business. After researching many replacement app development companies, we settled on Rumble, a fairly new app development company that is used by other news organizations such as the Denver Post. We’re excited about the opportunity to add new features such as in-app comments — something many people have asked us for over time.
We want to make this transition as smooth as possible, but we’re also under deadline from our previous app developer, so we recognize there will be issues with the new app. We’re committed to getting them figured out and fixed as soon as possible, and to reducing the size and resource usage of the app.
