MANCHESTER, New Hampshire — A teacher from southern Maine is accused of posing as a young girl and persuading an elementary school girl to send lewd images of herself.

Police charged Paul Johnson-Yarosevich, 34, of Acton with prohibited use of a computer.

Police started investigating him in December after they say a pre-teen girl told police about what happened. Investigators say the girl thought she was communicating with another girl her age.

Johnson is a physical education teacher in Manchester, New Hampshire, but he is currently on leave. His bail was set at $5,000.
