ESTERO, FLORIDA AND BREWER – Margaret “Peggy” Estelle (Trefethen) Dolliver passed away April 8, 2015, at her residence in Estero, Florida, of natural causes. Peggy was born May 13, 1933, in Brewer, Maine, the daughter of Eula T. (Oakes) Gebo and Ernest H. Trefethen.
She married September 29, 1950, in Brewer, Maine, to her best friend and love of her life, Frank T. Dolliver. They shared their lives together for 64 years. Peggy attended John Bapst High School, Bangor, Maine. Before retiring to Estero, Florida, she was the office manager for her husband’s business Frank’s Auto Tops and Seat Covers, North Franklin, CT., now owned by their son, Dan. Peggy loved to sing, dance, read novels, spend time at the beach and in her pool, decorate her house for Christmas, as well as travel with her husband.
She is survived by her husband and children, Karen Dolliver Sonnati and her husband, Richard Thomes of Avon, Connecticut, Lindee Dolliver Dye and her husband, Rick of Trenton, Kentucky, Terry Dolliver Crowers of Weldon Spring, Missouri, Dan Dolliver and his wife, Susan of North Franklin, Connecticut, Penny Dolliver Eaton and her husband, Sam of Baltic, Connecticut; 7 grandchildren, Pete Dye, Sarah Dye, Tyler Eaton, Caitlin Eaton, Cynthia Crowers Franklin, Keith Dolliver and Kevin Dolliver; and 4 great-grandchildren, Tanner Dye, Zachory Dye, Glenda Eaton, and Trevin Eaton; her sisters, Gail Juber and her husband, Stan of Beverly Hills, Florida and Bonnie Kirby and husband, Tom of Ft. Myers, Florida; and many nephews and nieces.
