ST. AGATHA, Maine — State police issued a summons to a 19-year-old man with providing a place for minors to drink after breaking up a large party at his home on Brook Road on Friday and seizing large quantities of alcohol, police said Saturday.
Brandon Couture, 19, of St. Agatha was summoned for possession of alcohol. A 15-year-old girl also was issued a summons for illegal possession of alcohol by a minor, state police said.
Detective Jeff Clark was on patrol on that road at about 10:30 p.m. when he saw what appeared to be a large party. Several of the attendees ran when Clark approached and saw the party included several juveniles who had been drinking, state police said.
A significant amount of alcohol was seized from the residence, and parents were called to the residence to retrieve their children, state police said.
