BANGOR, Maine — Emergency repairs to Emera Maine’s electrical system were expected to affect nearly 1,000 customers in Hampden, according to a company statement.
The service interruption was only expected to last a half an hour, according to the statement. The interruption started around 10 a.m. Friday.
Areas impacted include Kennebec Road, Mayo Road, Back Winterport Road, Libby Lane, Meadow Road, Monroe Road, Patterson Road, Cananna Road, Sawyer Road, Emerald Drive, Carmel Road, Hampden Woods Drive, Merchant Road, Babcock Lane, Chapman Road, Severance Road, Littlefield Road, Mudgett Road, Dahlia Farm Road, Haskell Drive, Croxford Drive, South Road, Hog Hill Road and other surrounding streets.
In addition, maintenance also occur 9 to 11:30 a.m. on April 28 and will affect 630 customers in Dover-Foxcroft, Sebec, Barnard and Williamsburg.
