STANDISH, Maine — A man and a woman were arrested Saturday morning in connection with a methamphetamine manufacturing operation, according to a statement from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Timothy Schoubroek, 32, and Tressa Sprague, 35, both of Standish, were charged with unlawful trafficking in methamphetamine and violating bail conditions, according to the statement.

A family disturbance prompted Cumberland County sheriff’s deputies to respond to a Woodland Avenue residence Saturday morning, and once there, the deputies suspected a meth lab was at the residence, the statement said.

Drug agents were called in, and a pair of one-pot labs were located, while two older ones were also found discarded along the property’s wood line.

Both Schoubroek and Sprague were taken to the Cumberland County Jail after their arrests. Saturday’s incident marks the 11th meth lab drug agents have uncovered so far this year.
