SEBAGO, Maine — A fire in Sebago damaged 8 acres of woods Saturday night.
Firefighters had to return Sunday to continue to put out hotspots.
Fire officials say they responded to the call around 6:30 p.m. on Peabody Pond Road. By the time they arrived at least 3 acres were already on fire.
Officials say it took about 2 ½ hours to extinguish the blaze. The fire was difficult because of the rough terrain.
No one was hurt and no houses were damaged. The cause is under investigation.
