BANGOR, Maine — Two men working on a scissor lift at the Schoolhouse Apartments on Harlow Street became stuck but were aided by Bangor firefighters, Assistant Chief Dennis Nadeau said.

The workers were stuck 35 feet in the air when the scissor lift lost hydraulic power, according to Nadeau.

The Schoolhouse Apartments are next door to the Bangor Public Library, Nadeau said.

Bangor firefighters responded to the area shortly after 2 p.m. and used a ladder truck to get the men, who were not injured, to safety, Nadeau said.
