BANGOR, Maine — Personnel from the Maine Forest Service spent Wednesday afternoon and evening battling four wildfires, rangers reported via social media.
While a spokesman could not be reached Wednesday evening, the forest service said rangers dealt with a fire in Stetson that began about 3 p.m., followed shortly after by a fire in Sanford off Old Post Road.
Early Wednesday evening, rangers were dealing with a roughly 4-acre burn in Warren and a wildfire on Isleboro that was said to have involved a garage.
