WINDHAM, Maine — Fans are pushing to bring back a show about Maine, canceled after only 16 episodes with no explanation.
“Down East Dickering” was a reality show on the History Channel about Mainers using Uncle Henry’s to wheel and deal around the state.
Fans organized a meet-and-greet with some of the show’s stars at America’s Mattress in Windham to bring attention to the show.
Fans say it was a fun show to watch, and it was popular among their friends.
There’s also a social media effort to bring back the show.
The Facebook page “Bring Back Down East Dickering” has more than 7,000 likes.
