WARREN, Maine — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office will examine video footage that as part of an investigation into a Saturday night break-in at a local store.
Deputies responded to Lincoln’s Country Store on Route 90 in Warren after the owner discovered the burglary, according to Chief Deputy Tim Carroll.
The burglary occurred after 11 p.m. Entry was through the back when the security system was disabled. A safe in the store was opened.
Knox Detective Dwight Burtis was called into assist in the investigation. The investigation is in its early stages and evidence is being gathered, including some video footage, Carroll said.
The department will be issuing updates on the case, he said Sunday afternoon.
