PORTLAND, Maine — A division of Konica Minolta has purchased the IT company SymQuest, which employs 186 people at locations in Westbrook and South Burlington, Vermont.
Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc., based in Ramsey, New Jersey, announced the acquisition Tuesday, for an undisclosed price.
The company said it will retain all 186 employees across SymQuest’s Vermont headquarters and its Westbrook location. It’s Konica’s 20th location in the last four years, the 8,000-employee company said.
SymQuest President Larry Sudbay said in a news release that the acquisition will accelerate growth at the company, which will continue to operate under its current name as a subsidiary of Konica.
