BANGOR, Maine — A crash involving two tractor-trailers disrupted traffic on busy Route 2 on Thursday morning, according to Bangor police.

Bangor police Sgt. Tim Cotton said the crash occurred sometime before 8 a.m., and traffic was snarled for much of the morning commute.

Cotton said shortly before 10 a.m. police were wrapping up work at the scene near Leadbetter’s convenience store, and there don’t appear to be any serious injuries.

Traffic resumed moving in both directions on Route 2 by mid-morning.
