PARKMAN, Maine — Law enforcement officials continued to search Thursday for a man wanted in the death of his ex-girlfriend.
Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said in an email there have been no confirmed sightings of Robert Burton, 38, who is accused of killing Stephanie Ginn Gebo.
Police from numerous agencies are involved in the manhunt for Burton, who is considered armed and dangerous.
Officers have focused their search efforts on multiple areas over the course of the week, including North Guilford Road in Monson, where Burton has family, and in the Parkman, Abbot, Monson and Guilford areas.
Anybody who sees Burton is advised not to approach him and to call state police in Bangor at 973-3700 or dial 911.
