BANGOR, Maine — A Millinocket man who was arrested last month in connection with the alleged attempted drowning of a woman in Greenville remains behind bars, unable to post bail set at $20,000 cash or $50,000 surety.
Galen Thibodeau, 44, was arrested on May 1 on charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault, Piscataquis County District Attorney R. Christopher Almy said Monday.
According to Almy, Thibodeau on April 15 tried to drown a Greenville woman in a water-filled culvert outside her home after a dispute between the woman and Thibodeau’s girlfriend at the time.
Thibodeau is being held at Piscataquis County Jail.
