BRADFORD — Trevor Macomber of Bradford is a junior at Central high school in Corinth and a longtime active member of Boy Scout Troop 53. He has been in Troop 53 since he was 5, and in Cub Scouts.

Trevor is working at achieving his Eagle Award and in doing so had to complete a project for his community. He met with members of the Bradford Recreation Committee last fall and began planning, leading and preparing to place scoreboards in the town’s Little League and Farm League fields.

The work took several months but Trevor stayed focused and true to his word and achieved his goal. He extends his thanks to these people and companies that donated time, materials and support so he could achieve his goal and help the town of Bradford: Lowe’s in Brewer, Bob Ahearn; Owen J. Folsom of Old Town, Pepsi Cola; Sean Banks of Hudson; Keith Boucher of Hermon; Bradford Recreation; Jamie Smith of Bradford; Scouts and parents of Troop 53 in Corinth; his parents Jeff and Sandi Macomber; and Bangor East League.
