LISBON, Maine — A Lewiston man was found dead Thursday near the Worumbo Hydro Dam, according to a statement from Lisbon police.
The body of Peter Bickford, 52, was found at 7:15 a.m. in the downstream fishway gates, according to the statement.
Bickford had not been reported missing.
Bickford’s death has been ruled a drowning, but the circumstances behind his death remained under investigation.
Lisbon and state police are handling the investigation.
