PORTLAND, Maine — Police have increased their reward for information leading to the arrests of individuals responsible for robbing two banks this spring.
In addition to a $5,000 reward being offered by TruChoice Federal Credit Union, cPort Federal Credit Union is also offering a $5,000 reward, police announced in a statement Monday.
The total reward being offered is $10,000.
The TruChoice Credit Union was held up on May 26 and the cPort Credit Union on June 19. The offers expire on August 31.
In both cases, the robber was armed with a handgun and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Shortly after the cPort Credit Union was robbed last week, police say the same person held up Bank of America at One City Center.
Anyone with information on either case should call police at 874-8575.
